Local notes
Wedding photo tips for Texas
- Plan for guests on the road
- A Texas guest list can mean long drives and flights. Text the link the week before, so people arrive knowing how it works and can join before the party starts.
- Check the signal outside the city
- Ranches and Hill Country venues can have weak cell service, and guests need to get online to join. Ask your venue about signal and guest Wi-Fi before you print the QR signs.
- Move the party with the weather
- Summer highs sit in the 90s across the big Texas metros. Print QR signs you can carry, so they follow you if the party moves indoors.

FAQ
Texas wedding questions
Does Momenta work anywhere in Texas?
Yes. Momenta is an app, so it works at any venue where your guests can get online. It isn't tied to a city, and there is nothing to deliver or set up.
What's the mildest time of year for an outdoor Texas wedding?
Spring and fall are the mild stretches in all three cities, with highs around 77–83°F in April and October.
How much does Momenta cost for a wedding?
The Wedding Day package is $97 for one event with up to 300 guests. The Wedding Bundle is $249 and adds the live screen plus seven more events of up to 100 guests. Both are one payment, with no subscription.
How does Momenta compare with renting a photo booth?
They do different jobs. A booth gives you one staffed spot with props, and rentals often run about $250 to $550 per event. Momenta costs less and puts a camera on every guest's phone, so you get the tables and the dance floor as well, but it doesn't come with props or an attendant.
Do my guests need to download an app?
On iPhone, no: guests scan the QR code and Momenta opens instantly as an App Clip, without installing anything. On Android, guests install the free Momenta app from Google Play for now; uploading from the browser, with no app, is coming soon.
