Wedding photo tips for Dallas
- Work around the summer heat
- On a July or August date, expect most of the party to happen indoors or after dark. Put the QR code where people gather: the bar, the tables and the welcome sign.
- Reach guests across the Metroplex
- Your guests may be driving in from Fort Worth, Plano or Frisco, or flying into DFW. Text the link the week before so nobody is figuring it out on the dance floor.
- Save the reveal for brunch
- Hosting a farewell brunch? Set the reveal for 12 hours after the party, and everyone sees the night together over breakfast.

FAQ
Dallas wedding questions
Does someone from Momenta come to my Dallas venue?
No. Momenta is an app, not a local vendor, so there is no staff or equipment to book. You set it up from your phone and print the QR code for your venue.
What's the mildest time of year for an outdoor Dallas wedding?
April averages 77°F and October 80°F, far milder than the 97°F of midsummer.
How much does Momenta cost for a wedding?
The Wedding Day package is $97 for one event with up to 300 guests. The Wedding Bundle is $249 and adds the live screen plus seven more events of up to 100 guests. Both are one payment, with no subscription.
How does Momenta compare with renting a photo booth?
They do different jobs. A booth gives you one staffed spot with props, and rentals often run about $250 to $550 per event. Momenta costs less and puts a camera on every guest's phone, so you get the tables and the dance floor as well, but it doesn't come with props or an attendant.
Do my guests need to download an app?
On iPhone, no: guests scan the QR code and Momenta opens instantly as an App Clip, without installing anything. On Android, guests install the free Momenta app from Google Play for now; uploading from the browser, with no app, is coming soon.
